Access to Education
Education is the single most powerful lever for breaking cycles of poverty and violence. Yet millions of children still grow up without a classroom, a teacher, or a connection to the wider world.
The challenge
244 million children and young people are out of school worldwide. Hundreds of millions more attend schools without electricity, books, or trained teachers — and the digital divide is widening the gap between them and their peers.
In conflict-affected regions like eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, a generation of children risks being left behind entirely. We believe geography should never decide a child's future.
Our approach
How we open doors
01
Access
We help build and equip classrooms in underserved communities, and remove the barriers — fees, distance, discrimination — that keep children out.
02
Technology
We build computer labs and digital learning hubs that connect students to the same knowledge, tools, and opportunities as children anywhere in the world.
03
Teachers
We invest in teacher training and digital literacy so that technology translates into real learning, year after year.
What we're doing
- Building solar-powered computer labs in schools across eastern DRC
- Training teachers to integrate digital tools into everyday lessons
- Providing devices, connectivity, and offline learning libraries
- Sponsoring school fees and supplies for the most vulnerable children
